Understanding The Power Of Praise
David O. Oyedepo
Praise is cardinal to the believer. It is also a preservative of the blessings of God.
When you pray, God answers, but, when you praise, He steps in, in all His glory, might, power, and awesomeness!
Praise is not focusing on happenings; it is focusing in God’s faithfulness. It is focusing on the integrity of God and the insight that you have received. This is what makes praise endless.
What is praise?
The way into God’s presence (Psalm 100:4)
An instrument of honour (Psalm 149:1,6,9)
Why praise?
We are created to praise Him (Isaiah 43:21, 1 Peter 2:9)
